Eizo Sakamoto, born February 23, 1964, in Nishinomiya, is a Japanese heavy metal
singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Sakamoto joined the band Anthem as lead
vocalist in 1985, performing on the albums Anthem (1985), Tightrope (1986), and
Bound to Break (1987). In the 1990s, Sakamoto founded Animetal, an ensemble
specializing in heavy metal covers of anime and tokusatsu themes. His solo
discography includes the albums Metal Itchokusen (2000), Shout Drunker (2002),
