Vadim Valeryevich Novik, born 30 October 1975 in Leningrad, is a Russian musician known as Billy Novik. After completing medical studies and working as a forensic pathologist, he joined the club Boom Brothers in 1999, where he met guitarist Andrei “Ryzhik” Reznikov. The pair formed Billy’s Dilly’s Band, releasing the debut Being Tom Waits (2002) and touring Germany. The group later shortened its name to Billy’s Band.
