ZZZ
zZz is a Dutch rock band from Amsterdam, founded in 2000 by vocalist and drummer
Björn Ottenheim and organist Daan Schinkel, whose eclectic use of church organs
and electronic effects forged the band’s distinctive sound. Their debut album,
Sound of zZz, was released in 2005, featuring the single “Ecstasy”—which
appeared in the film Phileine zegt sorry and the television series Skins—and the
track “La La La”, which gained placement in the series CSI. In 2008, the duo
