Zluty Pes
Žlutý Pes is a Czech rock band formed in 1978 by Ondřej Hejma, who served as
frontman and primary songwriter. Inspired by a visit to Los Angeles, Hejma
returned to Czechoslovakia and assembled Žlutý Pes after gaining recognition
through performances at local bars. Their breakthrough came in the 1980s with
wider recognition following an article about emerging Prague bands. After a
hiatus in 1984, they returned with Ondřej Hejma – Žlutý pes (1988). Notable
releases include Hoši z východního bloku (1992) and Yellow Dog (1994), which
