Zaza
Peter La Bonté, born 5 June 1951 in Munich, Germany, is a German pop singer
known professionally as ZaZa. At the age of 12, he became a member of the
Regensburger Domspatzen. He trained as a graphic designer and worked for the
Siemens company before pursuing a career in music. From 1974, he performed as a
singer and drummer in several Munich rock groups, and in 1978, he joined the
reggae-rock band The Nighthawks. In 1982, he adopted the stage name ZaZa and
released the single “Zauberstab”, which entered the German singles chart in
