With her hit "Je veux" in 2010, Zaz revived French realist-inspired chanson and,
with her characteristic gouaille, has continued in this vein with success
abroad. Born in Tours on May 1, 1980, Isabelle Geffroy's musical education was
marked by jazz and blues. It was during one of her stints in several bands,
namely Don Diego, that she chose the pseudonym Zaz, under which she performed in
