Zarif Davidson, known professionally as Zarif, is an English singer-songwriter
born in Harrow, London. Growing up, she was influenced by artists such as
Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder. Zarif's music career began with performances
at open mic events in London, leading to collaborations with the Nextmen on
their 2007 album This Was Supposed to Be the Future. In 2007, she signed with
RCA Records and released her debut single "Let Me Back" in 2009. Zarif supported
