Jimmy Zámbó, born Imre Zámbó on January 20, 1958, in Budapest, Hungary, was a
Hungarian pop singer. Zámbó began a career as part of the Hungarian State Radio
Children's Choir. In the early 1990s, Zámbó achieved significant success and was
named Singer of the Year in 1993. The album Karácsony Jimmyvel (2000) became one
of Hungary’s best-selling albums in 2000. Zámbó also hosted a show on RTL Klub
starting in 2000. Zámbó died by an accidental gunshot wound on January 2, 2001.
