Zaïko Langa Langa, a Congolese band formed in Kinshasa in 1969, was established
by D.V. Moanda, Henri Mongombe, Marcellin Delo, and André Bita. The group
evolved from Orchestre Bel Guide National, with Jules Shungu Wembadio joining
shortly after its formation. Zaïko Langa Langa released their first single,
"Mosinzo Nganga / Pauline", in 1970 and quickly gained prominence in the
Congolese music scene. The band's early albums included Amour Thythy'na (1986)
and Nippon Banzai (1986). Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, they released notable
