Yumiko Takahashi, born 高橋 由美子 on January 7, 1974, in Japan, is a singer and
actress who began her career as a Japanese idol in 1989. Her debut single
"Fight!" released December 31, 1989 marked the start of her music career.
Takahashi's first album Scarlet, released in 1990, further established her
presence in the J-pop scene. Throughout the 1990s, she released a series of
albums including PEACE! (1991), Dream and Paradise both (1992), Reality (1993)
