Yu-Peng Chen
Born in Shanghai on January 15, 1984, Yu-Peng Chen is a versatile Chinese
songwriter who has composed music for Cantopop artists, films, video games,
television shows, and symphonies. He honed his craft at the Shanghai
Conservatory of Music and began composing award-winning soundtracks during the
2010s. One of his earliest projects, 2012's The Last Tycoon, earned him a
Chinese Academy Award nomination, which increased his popularity throughout the
