You Am I
You Am I, an Australian rock band from Sydney, was formed in December 1989. The
group initially consisted of Tim Rogers on vocals and guitar, his brother Jaimme
Rogers on drums, and Nick Tischler on bass. Early releases included the EP Snake
Tide (April 1991) and subsequent EPs such as Goddamn (May 1992). The band's
lineup evolved with Andy Kent replacing Tischler on bass in April 1992, followed
by Russell Hopkinson joining on drums. You Am I gained significant attention
with their debut album Sound As Ever (October 1993), which featured the singles
"Adam's Ribs", "Berlin Chair" ...
