composer of contemporary Jewish religious music who performs regularly. Raised
in a Satmar Hasidic family, Green's songwriting career began while studying at
the Manchester Yeshivah in 1973, where he wrote his soul music version "Kol
Berama", which became an international hit. As of 2024, he has composed over
1000 melodies across various genres including pop, classical, liturgical, and
