Yoskar Sarante Ventura, known professionally as El Prabú, was a Dominican
bachata singer born on January 2, 1970, in Villas Agrícolas, Santo Domingo. From
an early age, he performed with his father in public spaces and participated in
children’s contests. Sarante transitioned from merengue to bachata and
contributed to compilations such as Bachata típico. He released albums like Niña
Sedienta (1996) and Llora Alma Mía (2000). He gained international recognition
for his romantic-themed music. Sarante passed away on January 28, 2019, in
