Harry Skarbo, also known as Harry Stewart, born on October 21, 1908, in Tacoma, Washington, was an entertainer, singer, comedian, and songwriter, known for his portrayal of Yogi Yorgesson. He developed this character while appearing on the Al Pearce radio show from 1932 to 1937.
