Y'Anna Monique Crawley, born on April 11, 1977, in Maryland, is an American
singer known for her contributions to soul music and urban contemporary gospel.
She graduated from Eastern High School in Washington, D.C., where she sang in
the school choir. Crawley's music career began in 2009 when she appeared on
BET's singing competition Sunday Best, finishing as the season 2 champion and
securing a recording contract. Her debut studio album, The Promise, released on
