Yama, born in Japan, is a Japanese singer known for their work in J-pop and pop
music. Yama began making Vocaloid covers at home during junior high school,
which marked the start of their musical journey. In March 2018, they made their
singing debut with a YouTube cover of Picon's "Atatakai Ikimono" under the name
"Yama." This initial exposure led to Yama forming the rock trio BIN as the
vocalist in 2019. In April 2020, Yama released their first original song, "Haru
Wo Tsugeru," which peaked at number 7 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 and number
