Swedish pop group Yaki-Da, formed in 1994, during the height of Ace of Base's
success. The project was initiated by Jonas Berggren, a member and producer of
Ace of Base, who wrote the music and lyrics and produced the songs with John
Ballard. Linda Schönberg and Marie Knutsen were hired as vocalists. Their debut
album, Pride, released in 1994, featured the singles "Show Me Love" and "I Saw
You Dancing", the latter becoming their most successful track. The album was
entirely produced by Berggren, who also wrote all but two of its songs. In 1995,
Yaki-Da released the mini-album Dee...
