Marcel Everett, known professionally as XXYYXX, was born on October 31, 1995, in
Orlando, Florida. He started his career as an electronic music producer,
releasing his debut mixtape Still Sound in 2011. At 16, he released his
self-titled album XXYYXX, which included the notable track "About You" and
gained him prominence within the indie music culture by late 2013. XXYYXX
collaborated with various artists, including remixes for Tinashe's "Let You Love
