Xiu Xiu
Xiu Xiu is an American experimental rock band formed in 2002 in San José,
California, by songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and performer Jamie Stewart,
the band's only permanent member since its inception. Over the years, Xiu Xiu
has undergone numerous line-up changes. Notable members include Angela Seo
(present since 2009), long-time collaborator turned core band member on
keyboards, and drummer David Kendrick (formerly of Devo), present since 2022.
The band is known for its avant-garde blend of experimental rock, indie rock,
art pop, noise pop, electro and post-punk influences....
