Xaviera Gold emerged as a Chicago-based dance music vocalist and former DJ on
WBMX-FM. Her early career featured the 1987 single “You Used To Hold Me” with
Ralphi Rosario, released under the name Xavier Gold, which introduced her to the
club scene. In 1991 she released “Hold Me Again”, followed by the 1992 single
“Gonna Get Back To You”, a collaboration with Masters At Work that reached
