Xander de Buisonjé
Alexander Serge de Buisonjé, known professionally as Xander de Buisonjé, is a
Dutch pop singer born on July 19, 1973, in Voorburg. He performed with the
Maastricht-based band Volumia! until its final appearance on April 18, 2002. The
ensemble recorded the song “Afscheid”, which reached number 4 on the Dutch Top
40 charts. Buisonjé released his debut solo studio album, Hemelsbreed, in 2003.
In 2004, he participated in a tribute concert for André Hazes and released the
live recording Live en akoestisch. He moderated the television program De
