WKZ
WKZ, a German punk band from Ludwigshafen am Rhein, was formed in 1984. Their
early releases included the split-EP Der Auftrag (1985) with FOH and the debut
LP Echte Punx (1986). In 1993, WKZ released their second album Volle Pratze
Pogo. From 1988 to 1994, the band members focused on an English-language project
called Memento Mori before reviving WKZ at the end of 1994. The band's lineup
has seen frequent changes, with Michael Volkmer being the only remaining member
from the original formation.
