Josh Wink, born Joshua Winkelman on April 20, 1970, in Philadelphia, United
States, emerged as a pioneering electronic music producer and DJ. Early exposure
to techno and acid house scenes in the late 1980s led to his first commercial
releases in the mid-1990s, including “Higher State of Consciousness” (1995) and
“Don’t Laugh”, which positioned him at the forefront of the American rave and
