Winchester Cathedral Choir is an Anglican choir based at Winchester Cathedral, England, with origins dating back to the medieval period. The choir developed from a traditional boys-and-men foundation and has included a girls’ choir since 1999. Under Martin Neary, who served as Organist and Director of Music from 1972 to 1988, the choir expanded its repertoire and commissioned contemporary works from composers such as John Tavener and Jonathan Harvey.
