Wilt
Wilt was an Irish alternative rock band formed in Kilkenny in 1998 by former
Kerbdog members Cormac Battle (vocals, guitar) and Darragh Butler (drums),
alongside bassist Mick Murphy. The trio played its first live show in Dublin in
March 1998 and quickly became part of Ireland's alternative rock scene. Wilt
released its debut album, Bastinado, in 2000, followed by My Medicine in 2002.
During the latter album's touring cycle, guitarist and backing vocalist Derren
Dempsey joined the live lineup. Throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, Wilt
