William Awihilima Kahaialiʻi, known as Willie K, was a Hawaiian-American singer
born in Lahaina, Hawaii on October 17, 1960. He began performing at age eight
alongside his father, Manu Kahaialiʻi.
Willie's career took off when he began collaborating with Amy Hānaialiʻi Gilliom
in 1993, recording and touring together for nine years. Their work won seven Na
Hoku Hanohano Awards. One of their significant releases was Live at the 2003
Aloha Live Tour (2003), which was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Hawaiian
