German Wilkins Vélez Ramírez, born 10 March 1953 in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, is a
Puerto Rican singer whose career spans more than four decades. After growing up
in Mexico City and participating in school choirs, he returned to Puerto Rico in
1971 and began studying biology while pursuing music, eventually signing
recording contracts and later founding his own label. His early career included
