West of Eden, a Swedish folk rock band from Gothenburg, was formed in 1995 by
spouses Jenny and Martin Schaub after their return from a trip to Dublin.
Inspired by Celtic folk music, they released their self-titled debut album West
of Eden in 1997. The band's repertoire primarily consists of original songs
influenced by Irish and Scottish folk music, characterized by acoustic
