Wendy Bucklew is an American rock singer-songwriter. She began her musical
journey at a young age and joined the Atlanta folk rock scene in 1988. Her
breakthrough came with the release of Painting Sidewalks (1992), produced by
DeDe Vogt, which gained significant airplay on several Americana stations across
the U.S. and Europe. Tammy Susan Hurt contributed drums and percussion to this
album. Bucklew's subsequent release, Asleep in the Swing (1996), further
solidified her presence in the music industry. Her subsequent releases, Asleep
