Vunk, a Romanian pop rock band formed in 1994, initially performed under the
name Vank. After a hiatus following the departure of Alex Belciu and Victor
Cenușă in 2008, remaining members Cornel Ilie (vocals, guitar, piano) and Nicu
Sârghea (drums) reinvented the band as Vunk in 2009 with Gabi Maga (guitar) and
Bogdan Crucianu (bass). Their first album under the new name, Ca Pe Vremuri, was
