Vlassis Bonatsos, born on November 30, 1949, in Xylokastro, Greece, was a singer
and actor. He began his musical journey in the early 1970s with the group Peloma
Bokiou, named after combining syllables from the last names of its members.
Bonatsos' breakthrough came with the release of his debut album, Επικίνδυνη
ισορροπία (1976). Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, he released several notable
albums including Γενικά (1981), Παραλήρημα (1991), and Χαίρετε (1996). On
October 14, 2004, Vlassis Bonatsos passed away due to asphyxiation caused by
obstructive laryngitis.
