Vitor Hugo Alves Ramil, known as Vitor Ramil, was born on April 7, 1962, in Pelotas, Brazil, and is a singer and musician whose compositions are heavily influenced by Brazilian gaúcha music and the milonga. His career began with the release of his debut album Estrela, estrela in 1981. Throughout his career, Ramil has collaborated with numerous notable artists including Caetano Veloso, Milton Nascimento, and Fito Páez.
