Vincent Gardner
Vincent Gardner, known professionally as Vincent Gardner, was born on
31 October 1972 and is a jazz trombonist and composer. Raised in a musical
family, he began with violin, then saxophone and horn before choosing trumpet at
13; he studied classical trumpet and music education at Florida A&M University
and later graduated from the University of North Florida. Gardner’s career
accelerated after joining the Hampton All‑City Jazz Ensemble and performing with
the Count Basie Orchestra and the Duke Ellington Orchestra. He also toured with
