Valentina Vasilevna Tolkunova, born on July 12, 1946, in Armavir, Krasnodar
Krai, Soviet Union, was a Soviet and Russian singer. She began her musical
career as a soloist and jazz singer with Yury Saulsky's band VIO-66 in 1966. She
gained significant recognition in 1972 through her performances on radio and TV.
Tolkunova released her debut album Valentina Tolkunova in 1974, followed by
notable releases such as Pesni (1977) and Esli b ne bylo voyny (1990). She won
