Urszula Beata Kasprzak, known professionally as Urszula, is a Polish rock and
pop singer and multi-instrumentalist born on 7 February 1960 in Lublin. She
began playing the piano and accordion in her youth and attended the Lubliner
Lieder-Studium. She achieved professional recognition in 1977 after winning the
main prize at the Festival of Soviet Songs with the track “Kopciuszek” (1977).
In 1982, Kasprzak began a collaboration with the group Budka Suflera after
composer Romuald Lipko produced the single “Fatamorgana '82” (1982). Between
