Urban Knights
The Urban Knights, an American jazz fusion band, formed in 1995. Their debut
album, Urban Knights I, released that year by GRP Records, featured musicians
like Grover Washington Jr., Ramsey Lewis, with Maurice White producing. The
album reached number 5 on the US Billboard Top Jazz Albums chart. In 1997, their
second album, Urban Knights II, also produced by White, peaked at number 7 on
the same chart. In 2000, Urban Knights III was released by Narada Records with
contributions from Dave Koz and Earl Klugh. The band's notable singles include
"My Boo" (2005).
