Unwritten Law is an American rock group formed in Poway, California in 1990 by
drummer Wade Youman. The band’s early years were marked by frequent lineup
changes, with Wade Youman remaining the sole founding member until his first
departure in 2004. Their breakthrough came with the release of Blue Room in
1994, which introduced the band’s punk‑rock sound to the San Diego scene. The
follow‑up Oz Factor (1996) brought the single "Seein' Red" to regional radio,
