Anthony Leonard Platt, otherwise known as Unk or DJ Unk, is an American DJ and
rap artist born on March 28, 1981 in Atlanta (Georgia). Beginning his career in
music in 1998 at the age of 17, DJing alongside DJ Jelly and DJ Montay. After
joining their entourage, the Southern Style DJs, he continuously performed at
various events around the country until in 2000 when he was signed to Big Oomp
Records. His debut album Beat'n Down Yo Block! was released in 2006 and sold
