Ulita Knaus
Ulita Knaus, born on 8 July 1969 in Salzgitter, Germany, is a singer. She began
her musical education with piano lessons at six before studying jazz singing at
the Amsterdam Conservatory and later at the Hamburg Academy of Music. She first
entered the public eye in 1988 with the salsa and Latin orchestra Havana,
contributing to two of their albums and touring Germany for 12 years. Her solo
career progressed with the release of The Moon on My Doorstep in 2014 under Must
Have Jazz/Membran, followed by Love in this Time in 2017 and Old Love and New in
