Uli Lenz
Ulrich "Uli" Lenz is a German jazz pianist. He began playing piano at the age of
four and studied piano and cello at the Hoch Conservatory in Frankfurt, later
continuing at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts. In the
1980s, Lenz moved to Berlin, performing at the Berlin Jazz Festival in 1985 and
touring internationally across Europe, Africa, the Far East, and the Americas.
He recorded a live performance at the New York jazz club Sweet Basil in 1988
with Joe Chambers and Cecil McBee, and performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival
