Udo Lindenberg
Udo Gerhard Lindenberg (born May 17, 1946 in Gronau/Westphalia) is a singer,
rock musician, writer and painter from Germany. Udo Lindenberg began his musical
career as a drummer in various bands. In 1971, Udo Lindenberg released his debut
album Lindenberg. He still sings in English on it. The second album, Daumen Im
Wind, followed in 1972, this time in German. From then on, Udo Lindenberg only
sings in German. In 1973, Udo Lindenberg achieved his first respectable success
