U the Starr is a reggae artist from Kaizuka, Osaka Prefecture, known for blending authentic Jamaican grooves with a personal style shaped by lifelong exposure to music. Influenced by his father, who was part of the reggae sound system UP DOWN SOUND, he began his musical journey from an early age. While active with UP DOWN SOUND, he launched his solo career as U the Starr, releasing his debut EP SOUND WAVE in 2022.
