American singer and actor Tyrese was born Tyrese Darnell Gibson on December 30,
1978, in Los Angeles, California. Though he was interested in music as a child,
he began his career as an actor, appearing in ads for companies such as
Coca-Cola, Tommy Hilfiger, and Guess. In 1998, Tyrese signed as an artist to
label RCA Records, leading to the release of his debut single “Nobody Else.” The
