Tyson Illingworth, known professionally as tyDi, was born on May 31, 1987 in Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia. He began his career as a producer and DJ specializing in electronic dance music at the age of 14 and signed with Armin van Buuren's Armada label at 17. tyDi released his debut album Look Closer in 2009, which reached number 2 on the Australian Dance Charts.
