Tycoon was an American rock band from New York City, formed in the late 1970s.
The group consisted of Norman Mershon on vocals and guitar, Jon Gordon on
guitar, Bobby Messano on guitar and vocals, Mark Rivera on saxophone and vocals,
Keith Taylor on keyboards, Mark Kreider on bass, violin, and vibes, and Richard
Steinberg or Mike Braun on drums. Tycoon's breakthrough came with their
eponymous debut album Tycoon, released in 1979 on Arista Records. Produced by
Robert John "Mutt" Lange, the album featured the Top 40 hit single "Such a
Woman", which peaked at Number 26 on the U.S. B...
