American country singer born in Austin, Texas, on July 12, 2007, Ty Myers grew
up on a farm in Dripping Springs, learning to play acoustic and then electric
guitar at the age of twelve. He sought to develop his technique before composing
his first songs, including "Tie That Binds", which propelled him on social
networks to become one of the country revelations of 2023. The widely-shared
