Turma do Pagode
Turma do Pagode, a Brazilian pagode group formed in 1994 in São Paulo's Parada
Inglesa neighborhood, has become a cornerstone of modern samba and pagode music.
The group initially gained recognition with their debut live album, Turma do
Pagode - Ao Vivo (2001), produced with the support of Netinho de Paula, who also
named the band. Over the years, they released a series of albums, including
Festa no Quintal (2003) and Pagode do Bom (2005), showcasing a mix of original
hits and reimagined classics. Their breakthrough came with the 2009 album Dom de
Sambar, featuring collaborations...
