Tülay Özer (10 December 1946 – 1 May 2026) was a Turkish pop‑arabesque singer
born in Kemaliye, Erzincan. After an accounting career, she launched her music
career in 1972. Her 1975 single "İkimiz Bir Fidanız" / "Son Ümit" earned a
Golden Record Award at the İzmir Fair and established her popularity. She signed
with Kent Records, releasing Tülay (1976) and Seven Ağlatılmaz (1978); the
latter’s Sezen Aksu–written single "Büklüm Büklüm" topped the charts. She left
Kent, issued Kalbimdeki Sevgili (1981) on Yaşar, and later released Özleyiş
