上條恒彦
(Tsunehiko Kamijou)
Tsunehiko Kamijō was a Japanese singer, actor, and voice actor born on March 7,
1940, in Nagano, Japan. Before embarking on his professional musical career, he
worked about 15 different jobs, including newspaper delivery and performing at a
song cafe to train his baritone voice. He released his debut single “Ame yo
Fure” in November 1969, but achieved widespread recognition in November 1971
with the single “Tabidachi no Uta” (performed with the group Rokumonsen), which
won the Grand Prix at the 2nd World Popular Song Festival. His subsequent hit
